Summertime
Whether taking place over a short vacation or stretching the length of summer, summertime is filled with possibility for something new. This place of possibility, that is limited to just one season, leads to sun drenched romances in these slice of life comedies and dramas.

When Lena's (Linn Reusse) brother brings home his new girlfriend, it brings forth new feelings for Lena and Eva (Isabel Thierauch). Despite her current relationship, Eva and Lena begin to experience feelings for each other, leading to a new path of self discovery.

Grief stricken and orphaned after her mother's death, teenaged Claudia (Markella Kavenagh) hides in a remote part of her propetry. However, her world soon turns upside down again when she is discovered by Grace (Maiah Stewardson) a rebellious and earnest girl her age. As the two girls make promises to each other, they also learn what love after loss can look like.

Set in the British countryside, My Summer of Love follows working-class Mona (Natalie Press) and spoiled rich girl Tasmin (Emily Blunt). As the girls confess their love for one another among other family secrets, they draw each other down dark paths through suicide pacts, lies, and violence.

Set in Northern Ontario, Porcupine Lake is the story of a hazy summer where two 13 year-olds become close friends. Bea (Charlotte Salisbury) is desperate for a best friend and finds one in the rowdy Kate (Lucinda Armstrong Hall). The intensity of their friendship increases throughout the summer, as the film explores the world of young girls.

A slice of life, coming of age film about a young queer teen and her aunt in Chicago. Cyd (Jessie Pinnick) is bored in South Carolina with her depressed father, and so jumps at the opportunity to spend summer with her aunt (Rebecca Spence) in Chicago. While there, she and her aunt butt heads, while also growing closer. Cyd also develops feelings for a local barista (Malic White).





Set in a French suburb, Water Lillies showcases the teenage angst of discovering one's sexuality and attraction. Marie (Pauline Acquart) becomes interested in Floriane (Adèle Haenel) after observing her swimming compeition, while Anne (Louise Blachère) develops a crush on François (Warren Jacquin) who is currently seeing Floriane. The three girls love lives and friendships entangle with one another as they spend the summer in the swimming pool and in the privacy of the locker room.
